The Lloyds TSB Foundations are independent
grant-making trusts covering England and Wales, Scotland,
Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. They are shareholders
in Lloyds Banking Group and together receive one per cent of the
Group's pre-tax profits, averaged over three years, instead
of a dividend on their shares. In addition to Matched Giving,
the Foundations make grants to charities. In 2008, the income
of the Foundations was £37 million which makes them some of
the largest independent grant-makers in the UK. The Foundations
support underfunded, grassroots charities that enable disadvantaged
people to play a fuller role in the community. To find out
more about the work of each of the Lloyds TSB Foundations
